New Nanoskin 3d Bioprinting strategy in wound care: a bright future ahead

Main Article Content

Abstract

3D printing is the future. This will change the way we produce new materials. However, bio-based materials have been difficult to print in 3D. Most 3D printers use heat to melt the plastic or metal to be printed, and bio-based materials are degraded. But Nanoskin nanofibrils have a solution to this problem: The print gel is wet and dries out to a solid for a solid material. In this work, it was showed recently wound healing such as in Vinous Ulcer with kidney, Diabetic foot, rare diseases and other health complications using Nanoskin 3D print membranes.
